The Snow Globe: A Christmas Show

The Snow Globe: A Christmas Show is an immersive, music-filled holiday evening that turns the theatre into a cozy living room—part concert, part storytelling salon, part communal feast. As Briana and Jonathan attempt to host “the perfect” Christmas gathering, a too-loud Muzak world gives way to something warmer and stranger: time begins to fold, memories surface through carols, poems, and the smell of baking, and the audience is drawn into a handmade snow globe of candlelight, citrus, mulled wine, and medieval holiday music. Funny, tender, and gently subversive, the show invites everyone to slow down, honor absent friends, and rediscover the quiet magic of shared rituals—singing together, breaking bread, and letting the snow finally settle. Writer/performer Briana Ratterman Trevithick rejoins Director Stepan Simek, the musicians of Musica Universalis, and the incomparable Jonathan Cullen at 21Ten Theatre in Portland, OR.
